Areas of innovation for a consumer goods manufacturer
A company in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector has set itself the target of establishing high quality products and services on the market, which will offer added value in terms of health. To find out the innovative value propositions that will allow the company to put this basic idea into practice, Z_punkt is proposing a tried and tested approach: from future scenarios through customer needs to specific areas of innovation. The mix of methods used in the project is remarkable: scenario techniques, as a traditional method of researching the future, are combined with approaches from design thinking and quantitative modelling techniques. This gives the client a comprehensive overview of the lifestyles of various consumer segments in 2030, of key consumer needs in the respective segments, of consumer expenditure, health characteristics and eating habits, with which they can enthuse the consumers of the future. The scientifically based content and the creative and illustrative way in which it is produced as well as innovative workshop methods make the project findings a successful tool for further innovation processes.
