Development and facilitation of a cross-business unit foresight process, market and risk analyses for selected growth areas
Having screened 350 think tanks from around the world, the client opted to work with Z_punkt. The assignment is ambitious: where are there future markets outside our current areas of business, which offer profitable sales potential of at least one billion euros by 2020? The question requires a mix of explorative, analytical and quantitative methods. Z_punkt is developing and facilitating a structured process in which all units in the Group are involved. It starts by using an analysis of trends to identify promising growth areas. This information is condensed and analysed in workshops with the client. Market and risk analyses lead to an attractive portfolio of growth areas. On the basis of the successful pilots, the Management Board has decided to establish an annual control process with an internal foresight team.
