Innovation has to be thought through from the end user! One company in the financial industry is taking this message seriously and has asked Z_punkt to identify financial innovations on the basis of an in-depth analysis of customers’ future lifestyles. The project centres on the individual and his desires and needs. The central tool for understanding tomorrow’s customers is the future persona approach developed by Z_punkt. Fictitious customers are embedded in global scenarios (with a “plus 10” timescale) of the future business environment and systematically questioned about their needs. The project design allows us to identify potential for innovation in various fields of activity and to analyse it and assess it systematically with regard to the client’s new business development.
